Senior Tax Manager with excellent opportunity for Tax Partner in future!

Thompson Greenspon is currently seeking a Senior Tax Manager or current Tax Partner to join our tax practice in Fairfax, Virginia. An ideal candidate would have a well rounded background in corporate, partnerships, individuals, estate and trust.

The Firm prefers candidates who are coming from a comparably-sized public accounting firm, approx. 50+ employees, or larger.

Job Description:

Thompson Greenspon & Co., P.C. has been providing audit, tax and accounting services to Northern Virginia for over 50 years. To complement our traditional CPA services, The Firm provides business consulting, and management advisory services.

In addition:

We offer a great work/life balance...even during busy season, average is 60 hours per week. Non-busy seasons are 40-45 hours per week, on average.

Candidate will be rewarded with a 10% bonus for all new client business.

Candidate will be a CPA with at least 8 years of recent experience in public accounting tax practice. A Masters of Taxation is a plus.

Must be able to multi-task and remain organized in a high client volume environment. Clients are all private companies; ranging from start-up to $100 million plus. Typical client is $10 million - $40 million.

Multi-state and consolidations background a big plus.

Salary is commensurate with experience and is negotiable.
