Jan Thompson has been with Thompson, Greenspon, & Co., P.C., since 1974 and became a principal in 1979.

She has been involved in all aspects of client service with industry specialization in the areas of construction, professional services and financial services. Most notably, Jan has led the Government Contracting Group within the Firm since its inception over twenty five years ago. This group now represents one of the largest industry segments within the client base. 

Due to her extensive knowledge, she is often called upon for seminars and presentations to explain the complexities in this area of audit and accounting.

In 2011, Jan was selected as a “SmartCPA” by SmartCEO magazine and has also been named a “Super CPA” for several years by the Virginia Business Magazine.
