Karen Livingston is a highly accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in strategic planning, finance transformation, and operational leadership. Beginning her career in public accounting, Karen developed deep expertise in financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance.
She has since served as CFO for high-growth organizations, navigating the complexities of PE-backed, VC-backed, family-owned, and privately held businesses, where she has tackled complex financial challenges, driven profitability, and crafted forward-thinking strategies for sustainable growth. She oversees all aspects of financial operations, including compliance, risk management, strategic planning, treasury, investor relations, process optimization, and executive reporting. She specializes in scaling organizations, leading high-performing teams, and providing data-driven insights to enhance decision-making. As a CPA with an MBA from Syracuse University, Karen brings a strong academic foundation to her leadership roles.
Outside of her work, Karen is dedicated to mentoring emerging leaders, teaching entrepreneurship at institutions including Cornell, Virginia Tech, and Syracuse University, and supporting nonprofits through advisory roles.
