Billy Lawrence has been in the practice of public accounting since 2014. He joined Thompson Greenspon as an audit manager at the start of 2022. Prior to joining Thompson Greenspon, he worked in public accounting in Rockville, Maryland.

Billy is responsible for providing accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services to nonprofit organizations.

An alumni of Mount St. Mary’s University, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and has been a CPA since 2020. Throughout his career he has participated in continuing education programs and is certified in accounting and financial reporting for Not-for-Profit organizations by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
