Liza Arnest is a tax supervisor at Thompson Greenspon, specializing in nonprofit tax compliance. She focuses on preparing and reviewing Form 990 tax returns for tax-exempt organizations, advising clients on tax positions, and researching compliance requirements for unique nonprofit situations.

Before joining Thompson Greenspon, Liza worked at a national CPA firm in their nonprofit tax office, focusing on organizations with international operations and professional membership organizations. She also gained experience at a regional CPA firm, working on 1120-S and 1065 tax returns for real estate development, restaurants, and professional service businesses and their related individual tax returns (1040s).

Liza enjoys working with nonprofit organizations, especially those with foreign activities, and excels at assisting clients with compliance research and tax planning.  Known for her ability to explain complex tax concepts in an accessible way, she strives to anticipate and address potential challenges for her clients proactively.
