Principal
Tim Wilson is a principal in the tax department at Thompson Greenspon, where he has been serving clients since 2011. Prior to joining the firm, he gained valuable experience at a mid-sized CPA firm in New Jersey.
Tim specializes in providing tax compliance and planning services for partnerships, C and S corporations, and sole proprietorships. He works closely with clients on complex transactions and has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions. His industry expertise includes professional service firms, construction and real estate, and government contracting, as well as other closely held businesses and their owners.
In 2025, Tim was named a Top Financial Professional by Northern Virginia Magazine.

On a Personal Note
Outside of work, Tim enjoys weight training and running, often tinkering with his home gym setup in support of both. He also enjoys discovering locally brewed IPAs and spending quality time with his wife and daughter.
