Alex Tuvin is a tax supervisor at Thompson Greenspon and joined the firm in 2014. In December 2019, Alex left his position with Thompson Greenspon due to moving out of the greater Washington, DC area but returned to the firm in December 2021. He works in the government contracting, professional services and construction & real estate industries. His experience includes the review of Federal and multi-state tax returns and assisting his clients with tax planning throughout the year at both the business and individual level to help them prepare for the future.

He has been working as a tax accountant since graduating from the University of Maryland in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the states of Virginia and Maryland.

Outside of work, Alex served on the Board of Directors for his alma mater high school, the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School, in Rockville, MD from 2018-2020.

When Alex is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, and playing or watching sports.
