Erin Kidd is the Director of Special Projects at Thompson Greenspon, where she leverages more than 17 years of experience in taxation and business strategy to simplify complex issues and design innovative solutions. A specialist in individual taxation and strategic transformation, she leads firmwide initiatives that shape the future of operations, optimize systems, and align growth with firm and client goals.

Throughout her career, Erin has launched successful programs across industries, from tax and accounting to marketing and signage manufacturing, that have created new service lines, streamlined workflows, and accelerated revenue collection. Her ability to connect compliance, strategy, and innovation makes her a trusted advisor in both client and organizational contexts.

Erin is a frequent contributor to Thompson Greenspon’s tax blog and to national industry publications such as Thomson Reuters’ Tax Action Bulletin, the Journal of Construction Accounting and Taxation, and Taxation of Exempts. She also develops content around the topics of strategic business growth, process improvement, and professional growth topics, bringing both technical expertise and practical insights to her audiences.

She holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Business Administration from Morehead State University. Her professional credentials include Enrolled Agent, Accredited Financial Counselor®, and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Erin has been recognized as an Emerging Leader in the Accounting Industry by Wolters Kluwer and honored by the Garrison Commands of West Point, NY, and Fort Leavenworth, KS, for her contributions to the military community.
