FAIRFAX, VA – Thompson Greenspon is pleased to announce that Carolyn Quill, Principal, was recently named a finalist by the Greater Washington Society of CPAs (GWSCPA) for the 2017 Women to Watch Awards. Quill, who acts as one of Thompson Greenspon’s tax practice leaders, was recognized in the Experienced Leaders category, which highlights “women who made notable contributions to the accounting profession, their organization, and the development of women as leaders.”
The awards program was established in 2013 to highlight the accomplishments of women in the CPA profession. In addition to Experienced Leaders, other leadership categories in the Women to Watch Awards include Emerging Leaders, Industry Community Leaders, and Men Empowering Women.

The winners of the Women to Watch Award will be announced at a luncheon on October 13th at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC. The GWSCPA will host their 3rd Annual Women’s Leadership Conference prior to the Awards Ceremony.
